We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer that brings over 10 years of experience that can lead large-scale projects.
 
A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 35 years of industry experience, providing comprehensive architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. The company delivers end-to-end solutions from concept design and authority approvals to tender documentation, project management, and site supervision, supported by a team of highly qualified professionals committed to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
 
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Lead mechanical design for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, water supply, and gas systems.
  • Manage projects from concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop and coordinate Revit/BIM models and mechanical drawings with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, BOQs, and specifications.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, technical submittals, and provide engineering solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with international standards, local codes, authority requirements, and project specifications.
  • Lead MEP coordination and clash resolution with architectural, structural, and electrical teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve construction and design-related issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality and timely delivery of design packages.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
 
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • 8+ years of hands-on MEP design experience, preferably in high-rise or large-scale projects.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, water supply, and gas systems.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with BIM coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local building codes.
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • LEED accreditation or Professional Engineering License.
  • Experience with local authority approvals and regulatory submissions.
  • Knowledge of BIM/clash detection platforms.
  • Experience in design management and leading multidisciplinary MEP teams.
  • GCC/Middle East project experience is an advantage.
