The Electrical Site Engineer will represent the Consultant on-site and be responsible for supervising electrical works to ensure they are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, local authority regulations, and applicable quality and safety standards.  
 
Key Responsibilities 
• Supervise electrical works on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings,specifications, and contract requirements.  
• Review contractor's shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.  
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.  
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.  
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.  
• Issue Site Observation Reports (SORs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and inspection comments where required.  
• Verify completed works prior to consultant approvals and payment recommendations.  
• Attend site meetings and prepare inspection reports and progress updates.  
• Ensure compliance with EtihadWE and Civil Defense requirements where applicable.  
• Review as-built drawings and O&M documentation prior to project handover.  
• Assist the Project Manager/Senior Resident Engineer in project supervision and documentation.  
• Ensure all works comply with applicable HSE regulations.  
 
Qualifications 
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.  
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical site supervision, at least 2 years of his/her experience should be in UAE/GCC countries. 
• Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.  
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approval procedures.  
 
Technical Skills 
• AutoCAD  
• Microsoft Office Suite  
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications  
• Knowledge of LV systems, lighting, power, fire alarm, emergency lighting, ELV, earthing, and lightning protection systems  
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures
